| The Education Program (AAS) is designed to prepare paraeducators for employment in Kentucky classrooms. The program includes several levels. The Certificate Program is designed to prepare paraeducators for entry-level positions and to successfully complete the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment or Kentucky Department of Education approved alternative assessment. The Associate in Applied Science Degree (AAS) offers two options: one for those paraeducators wishing only a two-year degree and another for those wishing to enter a university teacher education program. |
