I have been a faculty member at OCTC since 1998

and I have recently moved to Science Building 203

After 6 years of semi-conscientious effort, I have received an MS in Chemistry degree from Western Kentucky University in 2007 I have a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from University of Georgia (1975)

I have taught a variety of programs at OCTC but currently I teach

CHE 104 Introductory to General Chemistry (Syllabus)

CHM 104 Introductory General Chemistry Lab (Syllabus)

MT 065 Basic Algebra with Measurement (Syllabus)

MT 110 Applied Mathematics (Syllabus)

 and I have taught

MT 055 Pre-Algebra

Collegiate High School

&

I also teach Pilates at the YMCA

Collegiate High School is a collaborative high school located on the campus of the Owensboro Community and Technical College. It is based on the early college high school model that gives students the opportunity to couple high school with the first two years of college at no cost to the student. Collegiate High School students earn a high school diploma and an Associate’s Degree and/or other college credentials within five years or less of starting high school.

On my free time my wife, Becky, and I ride road bicycles long distances and take vacations centered on bicycling. We rode 350 miles in 5 days in Va. last year. We ride at least one century (100 miles in one day) every year
