Adding and Managing the Course Menu
This tutorial is designed for use by OCTC faculty as a result certain instructions will apply only to OCTC faculty.
A. On the left side there is a link for control panel.

B. Only the instructor has access to the control panel

C. On the left there is a box called Course Option and the top left of the box is Manage Course Menu

D. Initially this page will have only an Announcement default file in it. Leave the Announcement option in the #1 space and it will be the introduction page.
E. Too Add new menu options go to Add and select:
Content Area Tool Link Course Link External Link

F. The drop down menus allow the use of predefined content areas. Click on the area and click submit.
G. However to create a unique menu tag click on the predefined content area that is close to the unique topic. Than click on the box underneath and give it a title.

H. To put the menu selections in a specific order go back to Manage Course Menu. Each item has a number along side in a drop down box. Use the drop down box to select the numerical order.
I. Once the menu options have been determined material can be added into each one.
