·         Students must spend at least 2 hours in the computer lab before the section due date.

Each hour is worth 5 points for a total of 10 points on each section.  Use any CD-ROMS that is appropriate to the areas that are being studied.  All CD-ROMs can be found in Room S210 on the shelf by the door

·         After students have completed their 2 hours in the lab they can work on extra credit.  To complete the extra credit all students need to do is spend more time in the computer lab.

Each additional hour after the assigned time is worth 5 points extra credit.  The maximum amount of extra credit for the semester is 20 points (4 hours).  Students are welcome to spend additional computer time if they want to, however, although the time will be recorded it will not be worth additional points.

·         The computer CD ROMs are in room 210.  RETURN THE CD-ROMs WHEN YOU ARE DONE. DO NOT TAKE ALL OF THE CD-ROMs AND DO NOT CARRY THEM AROUND TO CLASS.  OTHER CLASSES NEED THEM.

·         Sign into the red/orange binder with “Geralyn Caplan’s Anatomy and Physiology Classes” on the front cover.  You cannot receive credit for time assigned into the wrong book. Include your name, date, time-in, time-out, and total time in minutes not hours.

·         Lisa may not be able to assist you.  She has a desk in the back of the computer lab.  She is a very busy person.  You can leave a note on her desk.  DO NOT track her down when she is doing other things and DO NOT look for material in her cabinets or on her desk by yourself. Do not wait until the day before the time is due.  You will not be able to find a CD-ROM

·         I want you to explore the CD ROM.  These are great study guides.  I do not expect a report and you do not have to do an on-line test.  All you need to do for the 30 points for the semester is to work with and explore the CD-ROMs.

If you sign in for computer time that you are not doing (i.e.  you leave the lab for an extended period, visit with a friend, or you are using the computer for another purpose such as FaceBook or MySpace.)  I will give you a 0 for all of the computer time for the semester; that includes all extra credit work that has already been done.

There are videos and books up there that I encourage you to use however they are not to be counted to computer time. Time spent on my web-site or BlackBoard or studying does not count as computer time
