OCTC’s AAWCC hosts Fall in Love with Reading event
Owensboro Community & Technical College’s American Association of Women in Community College’s (AAWCC) will host a “Fall in Love with Reading” event on Saturday, November 13, from 9 AM to 12 noon in the Learning Resource Center on the main campus at 4800 New Hartford Road. The event is designed to promote literacy in our region and will include live readings, face painting, and crafts. The attendees will be encouraged to register for free books through the Daviess County chapter of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. This program furnishes one book per month for children from the ages of 0 to 5 years of age, for a total of 60 books. For more information please contact Donna Abell at
