General Occupational/Technical Studies

Do you need job skills fast? OCTC offers several diploma programs that can put you on the path to a good-paying job in a technical field. You can also apply the courses you take to an associate degree if you decide to further your education. Diploma programs are available in Air Conditioning Technology, Construction Technology, Collision Repair, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, Industrial Maintenance and Welding.

At least 25 percent of the credits must be completed at OCTC.

General Occupational/Technical Studies

The General Occupational/Technical Studies degree allows students enrolled in a diploma program to complete additional coursework and earn the Associate in Applied Science in General Occupational/Technical Studies degree. Programs include: Air Conditioning Technology, Auto Tech, Construction Technology, Collision Repair, CADD, Industrial Maintenance, Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology, and Welding Technology.
