The ADVANTAGE program is designed to provide individuals with an opportunity to obtain a nursing education in an evening/weekend class setting.

Students may participate in nursing education beginning at the nursing assistant level, advance to the Licensed Practical Nursing level, and ultimately complete the requirements for Registered Nurse education by attending nursing classes:
  Friday 4:00pm - 9:00pm
  Saturday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
(Students will also go on Sundays further into the program)

This program is designed to enhance opportunities for those students already employed in the health field, and those who are interested in entering a health career. Priority will be given to underrepresented groups. This is a selective admissions program. OCTC, KCTCS and the ADVANTAGE program are equal opportunity educational institutions.
