General Information
Federal and state regulations require that a student be enrolled in courses leading to a degree or certificate in order to be eligible for financial assistance. Therefore, students who are enrolled or who expect to enroll in courses but are not admitted as degree-seeking students generally do not qualify for any federal or state financial assistance.

Sources of Financial Aid
There are four general types of student financial aid programs: grants, loans, part-time employment, and scholarships. There are also special programs for those that qualify. Generally, all financial aid need is determined via the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application can be picked up in our office, local high school guidance offices, or completed online.
